Privacy Policy

beccarich.com, operated by Becca Rich

Last Updated on 28th October 2026.

Your privacy matters to me. This policy explains what information I collect when you visit beccarich.com, join my email list, or buy one of my courses or programs, how I use it, who I share it with, and what choices you have.

If you have questions, email me anytime at hello@beccarich.com.

By using my website or buying from me, you agree to this policy. If you don't agree with it, please don't use the site.

1. What I collect

Information you give me. This includes your name, email address, and billing details when you buy something, sign up for my newsletter, fill out a form, or email me. You're never required to share anything with me, but if you choose not to, you may not be able to buy from me or access certain things.

Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe and/or paypal. I never see or store your full card number. Stripe and/or paypal has its own privacy policy that explains how they handle your payment details, and I encourage you to read it.

Course account information. My courses are delivered through Teachery. When you enroll, Teachery collects what it needs to create your account and give you access, such as your name, email, and course progress. Their privacy policy applies to how they handle that information.

Information collected automatically. When you visit my site, certain information is collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, when you visit, and the site you came from. This is usually collected through cookies and similar tools (see section 5).

Information from social media. If you message me or interact with me on social media, I may see your name, username, and whatever you choose to share publicly or send to me.

2. Please don't send sensitive information

I'd ask that you don't send me sensitive personal details through my website, forms, or email, such as Social Security numbers, health or medical information, or financial account numbers. My courses and website are for education, and I don't need that kind of information to deliver them. If you're a consulting client, any information you share with me is covered by your separate client agreement.

3. How I use your information

I use your information to:

  • Set up your account and give you access to what you've bought

  • Process payments and payment plan installments

  • Reply to your questions and give you support

  • Send you your newsletter, course updates, and occasional emails about my work

  • Understand how people use my site so I can make it better

  • Request feedback and, with your permission, share your testimonials

  • Protect the site and prevent fraud or misuse

  • Follow the law and enforce my terms

I don't sell your personal information.

4. Who I share it with

I only share your information when it's needed to run my business or when the law requires it. That includes:

  • Service providers who help me do things like host my website, deliver my courses (Teachery), process payments (Stripe and/or Paypal), send emails (Flodesk), and run site analytics. They can only use your information to provide their service to me.

  • Legal reasons. I may share information if required by law, a court order, or to protect my rights, my business, or other people's safety, including to prevent fraud.

  • A change in my business. If my business is ever sold or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that. I'd make sure it stays protected.

  • With your permission. For anything else, I'll ask you first.

Links on my site may take you to other websites that I don't control. Their privacy practices are their own, so it's worth reading their policies too.

5. Cookies and tracking tools

Like most websites, mine uses cookies, which are small files stored on your device, along with similar tools such as pixels and log files. They help me keep the site working, remember your preferences, understand which pages are useful, and (if I run ads) measure how my ads perform.

I may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. These tools may set their own cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

My site doesn't currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

6. Email and newsletter

If you sign up for my emails, I'll use your email address to send you what you signed up for. You can unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of any email, or by emailing me. If you're a customer, I may still send you important messages about your purchase or account, like receipts and access details.

7. How long I keep your information

I keep your information for as long as it's needed to provide my services, keep my business records, and follow the law, or until you ask me to delete it. Some things, like payment and tax records, I may be required to keep. Anything I no longer need is deleted. Third-party services like Stripe and/or Paypal and Teachery follow their own retention practices, so if you want your information deleted from them, you may need to contact them directly too.

8. How I protect your information

I take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, including using trusted, secure platforms for payments and course delivery. No website or internet connection is ever 100% secure, though, so I can't guarantee absolute security. If I learn of a data breach that puts your information at serious risk, I'll let you know promptly.

9. Your choices and rights

You're in charge of your information. You can ask me to:

  • Tell you what personal information I have about you and how I use it

  • Send you a copy of it

  • Correct anything that's wrong

  • Delete it

  • Stop sending you marketing emails

Email hello@beccarich.com. I may need to confirm it's really you before I act on a request, and there may be a few cases where I can't delete something, like when the law requires me to keep a record. I won't charge you for reasonable requests.

If you live in a state with its own privacy law (such as California), you may have additional rights, including the right to know, delete, and correct your information, and to not be treated differently for using those rights. I honor those rights for residents of every state. As noted above, I don't sell your personal information.

If you live outside the United States, including in the UK or European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under your local law, and you may have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. By using my site, you understand your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

10. Children

My website isn't meant for anyone under 16, and I don't knowingly collect information from people under 16. Purchases are for adults, age 18 and over. If you believe a child has given me their information, please contact me and I'll delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I'll change the "last updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant, I'll do my best to let you know, for example by email or a notice on the site. Please check back now and then.
